Before you buy VirtualDJ with controller use, private Wi-Fi, and macOS 13+ or Windows 10/11
Mac requires macOS 13 or newer. The Windows edition requires 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. Both editions require current 64-bit VirtualDJ with a separate license that permits controller use, and the computer and iPhone/iPad on the same private Wi-Fi network. VirtualDJ is not included. The Windows edition and its native bridge are Authenticode-signed and securely timestamped by GQ Bunny Software.Product result
What it does
Use large, separated Play, Pause, Advance, and Stop controls with clear colors designed for live use.
Use the included VirtualDJ mapping on Mac or install the included native 64-bit VirtualDJ bridge on Windows.
Choose the left or right deck, then route every transport command, talk-over preset, and wedding-script cue to that deck.
Lower the selected deck to 25%, 50%, or 75% while speaking, then return it to 100% with one tap.
Paste the wedding script into the companion and send it to every paired iPhone or iPad. Mark cue rows with [CUE]; only the dedicated Play Next button triggers music, so normal scrolling never fires a song.
Use [NO SONG] for people who enter under the current song. Those rows stay light and non-triggering.
The companion creates the local remote address and pairing code, then uses the Mac mapping or Windows native bridge to send VirtualDJ commands.
Cue Remote is an independent GQ Bunny Software product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Atomix Productions.
How it works
How the VirtualDJ edition works
Choose the Mac or Windows PC companion and start the same 7-day trial inside the app.
Install the included VirtualDJ mapping on Mac or the included native bridge on Windows, then restart VirtualDJ once.
Put the computer and iPhone or iPad on the same private Wi-Fi, scan the QR code, pair once, and add Cue Remote to the Home Screen.
Choose the deck, prepare the song order and cue points, and test every transport and volume control before the event.
Run introductions from Controls or Wedding Script mode while VirtualDJ remains on the computer. One purchase and activation works with both Mac and Windows.
