Choose the Universal Mac edition for Apple silicon or Intel on macOS 13 or newer, the Older Intel Mac edition for macOS 11 or newer, or the Windows edition for 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. No GQ Bunny bookkeeping account is required: the owner name is a local display profile, and the purchase email plus activation code are used only to unlock or restore Pro. Manual imports, reports, Cards & Loans, money insights, and household handoffs remain free. Connected bank and credit-card feeds require your own Plaid developer account and are subject to Plaid availability, institution support, plan limits, and Plaid's separate terms. Create one Personal book and one Business book during the guided first-run setup, then name them for the person and company using the app.
Use the name entered during setup as a local greeting and profile label. There is no GQ Bunny bookkeeping login and no GQ Bunny cloud copy of the ledger.
Import common CSV, QBO, OFX, QFX, and supported statement PDF downloads while preserving stable source details for reconciliation.
Connect supported checking, savings, and credit-card accounts with Plaid when current account feeds and available balances are wanted.

Choose Universal Mac, Older Intel Mac, or Windows, then open 1 - SETUP INSTRUCTIONS in the download.
Enter the owner name, business name, and starting date; the app creates fresh, isolated local books with no bundled transactions or cloud bookkeeping account.
Import downloaded statements, or add your own Plaid credentials and connect bank and credit-card accounts when live feeds are preferred.
Keep the first Plaid institution connection free, or unlock Pro Email Notifications and up to 10 total connections across both books for $29.95 one time.
Use the dashboard and reports locally, export only the Personal and/or Business books you intentionally choose, or receive a spouse handoff for a duplicate-safe household reconciliation.
