Having a party? Be part of the light show. DJ Club Light Show follows nearby music with solid screen colors and white flashlight effects.

Start your show

Choose Color Show, White Strobe or White Light. Choose the light output and, for Color Show, your theme. Press Start. Allow microphone access for music modes, then play music nearby using your own sound system. White Light and Hold to Strobe work without microphone access.

Colors and drops

Standard repeats purple, pink, blue, yellow and green. Fire, Ice and Electric offer other four- or five-color themes. A strong detected drop at an estimated 125–144 BPM switches Color Show to white strobe for 16 beats, extending to 32 if the drop remains strong, before returning to the theme. Beat tracking is approximate; loss of tracking or tempo outside the supported range ends the strobe early.

Flashlight and blackout

Hold to Strobe uses the rear flashlight only while your finger is down. Release to stop. A device without a supported rear flashlight can still use the screen. Tap the running screen to blackout. Locking your phone or leaving the app stops the lights and microphone. The app never resumes a stopped show automatically.

If the music or flashlight is not responding

Check microphone permission in Settings and move closer to the speakers for a clearer bass beat. Check that your chosen output includes the flashlight. Release Hold to Strobe before starting another mode. Close another app using the camera and let the device cool if the flashlight is temporarily unavailable. Some devices have no rear flashlight.

Flashing-light notice

Flashing lights may trigger seizures or discomfort. Do not use if you are sensitive to flashing lights. Avoid directing the flashlight into anyone’s eyes, and be mindful of people nearby.
