Privacy
DJ Buddy privacy policy
Last updated July 28, 2026. This policy explains how DJ Buddy: Fade & Echo handles information.
Data collection
GQ Bunny Software collects no app data
DJ Buddy does not transmit personal information, music, playlists, cue points, or usage activity to GQ Bunny Software.
Your music
Selected and processed only on your device
You choose compatible local audio files. DJ Buddy copies selected files into its local app storage so it can play and analyze them offline. The files are not uploaded to us.
Waveforms and analysis
Created locally
Waveforms, tempo estimates, and assisted chorus estimates are generated on your device. They are not sent to a remote analysis service.
Saved cues
Stored only on your device
Playlist order and saved Start and End cue points remain in local app storage. Removing the app also removes this locally stored app data, subject to your device backup settings.
Accounts and advertising
No account, ads, tracking, or analytics
DJ Buddy does not require an account and does not include behavioral tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics.
Network use
No app network service
DJ Buddy does not require a GQ Bunny cloud service. Apple or Google may process store purchases, installation, and device backups under their own terms and privacy policies.
Children
Not directed to children under 13
DJ Buddy is a general-audience music utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You control the files you import
You can remove tracks from the app, clear local app data, or uninstall the app. DJ Buddy can work without granting access to an entire music library because you select the files or folder to use.
