Data collectionWe collect no app data

Tail & Tummy does not send your dog profile, diary, food logs, exercise, weight, photos, notes, tips viewed, or game activity to us.

Local storageYour diary stays on your device

Dog profiles, daily entries, pantry information, preferences, and progress records are stored locally on your iPhone and may be included in your device backup under Apple’s settings.

Camera and photosUsed only when you choose

Camera access is used when you take a private progress photo or scan a food label. Selected and captured images remain in the app’s local storage and are not uploaded to us.

Food-label recognitionProcessed on your iPhone

Text recognition for the calorie statement occurs on your device. Tail & Tummy does not send food-label images or recognized text to an external analysis service.

Widgets and remindersControlled by Apple systems

Widget content is prepared from local app data shared only with the Tail & Tummy widget. Notification permission is optional and reminders can be disabled in iPhone Settings.

PurchasesHandled by Apple

The App Store processes subscriptions, trials, billing, cancellations, and restores. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.

Accounts and trackingNo account, ads, analytics, or tracking

The app does not require a Tail & Tummy account and does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics.

Health informationEducational, not veterinary care

Dog calorie estimates, tips, common-ailment information, and traditional or natural-care discussion are educational. They are not a diagnosis or substitute for a veterinarian.

Your choicesYou control your local information

You can edit entries, remove photos, change notification access, or delete the app. Uninstalling removes local app data, subject to your device backup settings.
